Further to our previous post advising that Protectivity had withdrawn the agreed policy, we wish to update our members on the current position.
As part of our program of improving the benefits for members, we are looking to work with an insurance provider who can offer the following:
- A policy that includes Participant to Participant (P2P) cover under Public Liability for individual instructors (as opposed to Clubs).
- Reputable insurance partner with proven good service
- A competitive premium rate.
- Online purchase with flexibility of cover e.g., different cover limits
- A discount for our members in place of commission paid to the Union
We are actively seeking a suitable alternative, but this is proving difficult. In the meantime, we are conscious that some members may need to renew or buy insurance. Whilst we cannot make any recommendations you may find Insure4sport may offer a suitable product for individual instructors. As always, members must check that any policy meets their specific needs.

We thought we had found that with Protectivity earlier this year, but they have now withdrawn the P2P cover. If you have taken out cover with Protectivity they have said that you may be entitled to a premium refund. For more details, you need to get in contact with them at sales@protectivity.com.
